Columbia River Basalt Columns
Columbia River Basalt is our signature stone. It is native to the Pacific Northwest and can be seen in some of the oldest buildings in Portland and surrounding cities. The columns are a rich gray color that feature orange and yellow highlights on the sides and can be incorporated into retaining walls, water features and rockeries. They are available in a range of lengths and thickness and may be drilled for use as bubbling fountains. This basalt is also available in wall rock, boulders and split products.
